My day job involves producing daily content for my work's Instagram feed. For over four years now I have been producing a daily image of the various cameras we bring in. The repetition of having to be creative day in and day out can be a bit exhausting at times and it can be a challenge to not fall into a rut. So this was my way of having fun and doing something a little bit different.
Portrait in the Light
Photo Challenge: "Make it Fantastical!" Portrait in the Light Model: @pbj829 This portrait is an example of what photography means to me. This was TFP shoot with a beautiful model at a Pistils Nursery ( @pistilsnursery ), we are artists with the our cameras, use light and color of the world around us to make magic. This photo could have been taken anywhere else, no props was used, no flash or artificial light, it was shot through metal fence with wines growing. What I am trying to say is that what make this photo so special is the same thing that make it absolutely ordinary, it is completely and totally up to photographer to bring magic to their photos. Magenta Sunset
Photo Challenge: “Make it Fantastical” ‘Magenta Sunset' “As I sat in my living room eating dinner, I saw what looked like a unicorn fly by my window. "What was THAT!?" I exclaimed, and I ran outside to my rooftop. There I witnessed a magical sunset over the city skyline. Unicorns and Pegacorns fluttering around me. I watched in disbelief, and then I remembered...anything is possible in Portlandia!“ Photo Credit: Kathleen Ayers. thekathleenayers dot com FOLLOW: #PCPCX

Delicious
Photo Challenge: Make It Fantastical Delicious This photo was created as part of a “Creating Dreams” class assignment in an Intro To Photography class I’m currently participating in at the PCC Rock Creek Campus. My daughters are usually willing accomplices to my strange photographic requests, and this one was no different, especially since we used chocolate syrup for this image.
