THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. SORRY! Hopefully we will try this again. Our host is sick.
9 PM - 10 PM - Instruction time.
Meet at the bar! Learn techniques for photographing salsa dancing. Bring a flash for your camera. You will be learning how to work off of a tripod in low light. So either boost up that ISO or bring a speedlight/flash for that swanky camera of yours! If you don’t have one, come anyway! You can still learn and maybe share with someone present!
10 PM - 11 PM - Use what you’ve learned to photograph live dancers!
Stay later if you’d like. Since this is much later than most of our previous outings, we wanted to make it possible for those of you who still need to get up and work the following day. But for those who want to stay out and play… by all means do!
Recommended equipment: Bring a flash.
Presented by Shannon Butler who owns and runs Shabu Studios! Also a Photo Club PDX participant and community partner! Shannon is an incredible dance photographer. She is excited to teach us her tips and tricks for photographing dancers! Don’t miss it!
